BRANNICK COLLEGE
Brannick College is a Liberal Arts College created under the auspices of University of Arizona College Centers for Sustainability and for Agriculture.
In many ways, Brannick College will be the core of The Mare Pasture community. In addition to standard liberal arts curriculum, it will encourage viticultural and enological research, welcome scientists who wish to study desert ecosystems, work closely with BR Farms and BR Orchards to develop and create state-of-the-art sustainable farming systems, and oversee agritourism and international opportunities for study and internships.
Brannick College will also offer courses and classes to Mare Pasture residents in photography, creative writing and poetry, music, theater and local Native American history and traditions. A small, tree-lined plaza and open amphitheater will provide an attractive space for pedestrians to enjoy concerts, plays, and entertainment.
