The Lodge @ Red Wing Ranch will be a luxury retreat set in the heart of The Mare Pasture, a planned agrarian community development of over 1,000 acres based on small scale, sustainable agriculture and Agritourism.
The Mare Pasture community will feature high-density residential clusters integrated into irrigated pastures, orchards, gardens and open rangeland. Facilities will also include a liberal arts college, an equestrian center, riding / biking / walking trails, a vineyard, winery, and hydroponic farming. Agritourism at The Mare Pasture will foster varied business and recreational opportunities, from private "locally grown" dining experiences to regional winery events.
The Lodge will be one of the first modules to be built in initial development, along with the winery and vineyard. Visitors and potential investors will be able to stay on the property, enjoy the scenery, and bask in the warmth and ambiance of the southern Arizona desert while learning about the varied modules and sustainable planning of Mare Pasture.
The Lodge will be an elegant, secluded complex with a main hotel building, pool and hot tub, twelve suites, and twenty-two separate spacious, well-appointed guest casitas with prime desert views, night sky views, and luxury amenities. Every lodge suite will have an outdoor lounge and fireplace with expansive desert views, while some will offer private Jacuzzis or roof terraces.
Lodge facilities will include a spacious lobby, smaller library and meeting rooms, commercial kitchen, indoor/outdoor poolside dining areas, wine cellar, day spa, free wifi, cafe, boutiques and galleries, fitness center, lap pool, hot tub, and yoga pavilion.
The Brannick Lodge, along with the winery and tasting room, will anchor The Mare Pasture's agritourism, and as an educational guest center it will host wine tastings, tours, special events, winemaker dinners, and farm-to-table dining events.
